The average success rate of a product recall is very low. For some products the recall rate can be as low as 10% as product owners are simply unaware that there is a potential problem with an item they own. This means there could be large numbers of unsafe cars, electrical items, toys or even food products in UK homes that should have been returned for testing.
Product recalls don’t expire and are updated frequently so check our pages regularly for the latest information.
